Could it be? Am I actually updating?
Not really. Just wanted to let y'all know that I'm still alive. Short update is that I hate Jane Eyre, I love Jessica McLaughlin, and I heart Ben.
More to follow.
Yay for being good!

Anyway, I'm in a fantabulous mood. If you want details feel free to IM me for them. But the short story is that I adore Ben. So very much. Had the best date possible Thursday night, he's hysterical, and sweet, and rather attractive, and intelligent, and so nice. Just really a lot of fun. And I called him when I got back last night and he came over...and stayed for 13 hours. (: I feel like a giddy 13 year old with a stupid crush or something, like I should be signing my name with his last name and doing all those stupid tests to see if we're "soulmates". I'm incredibly infatuated. And I know he likes me too, but he doesn't want to rush in to a relationship, which is fine with me. I just hope that we do, eventually, end up together. It would make me so happy.
And, in other news, I'm currently not doing any of the huge projects I have due tomorrow. Note to self: DO YOUR WORK!
'Tis all.
I'm really ticked off, but I'll try to keep my rant short.
I lied. This is going to be long. And comments of sympathy are greatly appreciated.
I HATE MY ACTING PARTNER. To protect all identities we'll call her...Shmandrea...Well Shmandrea seems to have this wonderful idea that it's not a problem for me to walk 1/2 a mile every night to get to her place to rehearse, while she refuses to come to Manchester or meet in the middle. So not only does she expect me to always come over, but she expects me to do it virtually every night, when I work and have rehearsal. Then she bitches me out for being busy. When we DO rehearse, her idea of rehearsing is having me run lines with her, which she could easily do on her own or with a friend. And we when get up and do it, she refuses to take any of my suggestions but makes none of her own, so we get nothing accomplished. That is, IF we start rehearsal on time. When I had auditions a few weeks ago and told her I should be over around 8:30 and it was closer to 9, she told me to go home because I was too late. It started blizzarding outside, and I ended up stuck across campus for two hours because of that. The next time I came over, she made me wait for 20 minutes while she did laundry, at which point I got to listen to her roommate and some friends bash gay people and worship Usher, not to mention saying some of the stupidest things possible. Example:
ROOMMATE: "Did you see the Rudy Guiliani story?"
FRIEND: "Is that the one about the football player who's too short to play?"
OH MY GOD! So she bitches me out last week for not being able to "rehearse" every waking moment, even though we had two hours to do so today because class was cancelled. So I walk into class, and where's Andrea? Well, according to Gino, she called him and said to tell me she's sick. SICK? I don't think so. He's worked with her too and he was like, "that was so fake." So Gino, Luke and I, who've all worked with her, spent 10 minutes or so venting and now I'm home. Because really, I don't mind wasting my time, it's not like it's a rare commodity, and I don't mind constantly walking to Whitten to read lines with a girl I hate, and I don't mind being pushed around, and bitched at for being busy, and then being blown off when we actually can rehearse. Of COURSE I don't mind.
I'm planning a murder, and yes, Elisabeth, it involves many Pepe's boxes down the garbage chute...*GRRR*
From playmash.com...
You will live in Apartment.
You will drive a green Jaguar.
You will marry Ben the waiter and have 2 kids.
You will be a Prison warden in Chicago.
Interesting, eh? Particularly since I have a date with Ben the waiter tomorrow night! Wish me luck with that...I'm begging for a decent relationship. And he is such a great guy.
Congrats to the whole cast of Forum, which I saw the second act of last night. Especially Scotty D and whoever played Hysterium - great performances. *kiss*
To answer Leeny's question, yes, I will post updates on this page. Unfortunately, there are none yet. I'm sorry, guys! I've been way busy!
This weekend was sibling weekend, and it was fun hanging out with Matt...I took him to see Izzo's play, and then on Saturday we watched Ringu (kicks ass), and the two of us plus my dad and all my friends went to see Gamma Phi Circus. Rocked my socks. Seriously, I was so incredibly frightened most of the time because I was convinced someone was going to die. I was quite impressed with all the things I can't do and other people can. Good job, Ricky, Greg (Robin), JoAnna, and Eli!
After watching 1 1/2 Nightmare on Elm St. movies, we went to sleep, and my daddy took us to IHOP this morning. Hoorah for real food. Not that dorm food is bad here, it's actually quite good, but it's just so monotonous. If I have to eat general's chicken one more time, I'll scream. Mmm, general's chicken...OK, maybe I'm not sick of THAT yet...
In five days, Half of my life goes home.
OK, so here's something that doesn't make me happy. I decide to be a good girl and actually go to English 101 today, right? (Don't get me wrong - I VERY rarely skip classes, but I get more accomplished outside of this class than in.) BIG MISTAKE TO GO. Instead of doing anything remotely related to writing or the English language at all, we had a lecture sermon by a public speaker preacher. I'm NOT kidding. He was actually an evangelist. He spoke to us for exactly 47 minutes on exactly how God exists in an evil world, and why we should believe that God exists. Except he was totally a hypocrite and he'd be like, "Now, I'm not saying that you're not free to believe what you want to, but if we believe anything un-Christian, we're wrong. And to him, "not evil" is synonymous with "perfect". Which is SO untrue! He was like, "If we lived in a world with no evil, we would never experience any emotions because everything would be perfect". I'm sorry, but I hardly think that every day things like pimples, knocking over glasses, getting C's on tests because you didn't study hard enough, and minor disagreements constitute as "evil", but they're definitely "imperfect". And it's just too funny - of course I believe in God! I'm Christian. BUT I so strongly disagreed with this man's presentation, and the fact that it was being shoved down my throat in a public university's required English course, that I strongly considered becoming, like, Wiccan. I despise preachers like him.
So that was the worst thing ever. However, the day got better when I got to read with Ye-Rin, had yummy quesadillas for dinner, saw Frida (hoorah!), and went to a musical review tonight. Pete Zielinski, you are my hero. Not only because you're the greatest guy ever, but because you have such an amazing voice. The whole cast was great, really.
And now, I fill out job apps for this summer. YIPEE.
OK everyone are you ready for this?
*unveils*

Sometimes, there are no words.... The Lego Bible. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
Except my play of course, which went awesomely last night! (Awesomely? *checks grammar*) Everyone really loved it, and hopefully, I did well enough that I'll be noticed for the next auditions. It was so much fun though, and such a great experience. I'm going to see the rest of the one-acts tonight, so wish Maddie, Jeff, Caitlin, Brian, and everyone else that goes tonight GOOD LUCK!
Thus ends this update.
